Wild gooseberries are harvested from the lush green forest to make candies. The fruits are cooked, sliced ,add sugar and stored in large container for a couple of days, then strained and sun-dried, finally tossed with King Chilli and black salt. This snack is a perfect fusion of sour, sweet, and spicy — rooted in ancestral health practices of the region.
How to use
Ready to eat. Ideal as a digestive snack with a spicy edge. Pairs well with curd rice or poha, and can be served as part of a larger pickle or chutney platter during meals.
